Beat Credits and Rights

The 161 instrumentals in Rhyme Game come from 9 producers. This page credits each of them, explains who owns what, and tells you how to reach us about a beat.

Rights notice

Each instrumental remains the work of the producer credited for it, and the producer keeps their copyright. Beats credited to The Rhyme Game were made for this site. Rhyme Game streams the beats inside the game for practice; it does not sell them, offer them as downloads, or grant licences to use them in released music.

If you want to record and release a song on a beat you found here, contact the producer directly for a licence. Many producers offer leases or exclusive licences on their own sites and channels.

How producers are credited

Every beat shows its producer's name in the game's beat player and beat library, and in the beat tables on the style pages of this site. Shared challenge boards carry the same beat, so the credit travels with it.

Why credits matter in a practice tool

A practice beat is still somebody's work. Producers spend hours on drums, sound selection and arrangement, and the pocket you learn to rap in is a choice they made. Crediting them by name is the minimum respect that work deserves, and it gives you a way to find more of their music when a beat clicks for you.

Credits also help practice. If you notice that you consistently land better on one producer's beats, that tells you something about the kind of pocket that suits your voice — and the table below shows which styles and tempos that producer covers, so you can look for similar beats on purpose.

Using these beats outside the game

  • Practising and learning: that is what the library is for. Use any beat as much as you like inside Rhyme Game.
  • Recording a song to release: contact the producer for a licence first. Rhyme Game cannot grant one.
  • Classrooms and workshops: running the game in class is fine; the beats stay inside the game.
  • Re-uploading or redistributing the audio: not allowed. The audio files are part of the game, not a free download pack.

Corrections, additions and removals

If you are a producer or rights holder and a credit is wrong, missing, or you would like a beat removed, email contact@rhymegame.net with the beat name and the page where it appears. We review every request and act on removal requests promptly, normally within a few business days. Producers who would like their beats added to the library can write to the same address.
